The system is equipped with a sanitary twin-screw pump and an inflatable drum-sealing follower plate, which maintains tight contact with the drum wall throughout the downward unloading process. Compared with pneumatic systems, the Npack electric drum unloading system offers greater energy efficiency. The main system uses an electric pump and control unit, requiring only a small amount of air to raise and seal the follower plate onto the drum.
