Step 1: Bottle Transportation
Uncapped bottles are placed on a conveyor belt, which automatically moves them to the capping station for processing.
Step 2: Cap Feeding
Caps are loaded into a hopper and delivered to the cap-dropping mechanism. Most automatic screw capping machines include a cap sorting system that detects incorrectly positioned caps (e.g., upside down) and returns them to the hopper for correction.
Step 3: Bottle Stabilization
After caps are placed on the bottles, the bottles proceed to the screwing station. To maintain stability, the machine uses a holding system comprising a gripping belt to prevent tipping and a cap stabilizer to keep the cap steady until tightened.
Step 4: Cap Screwing
At the screwing station, six spindle wheels apply torque to tighten caps securely. The spacing between these wheels is adjustable to fit different cap sizes and bottle heights, ensuring precise and consistent sealing.
Step 5: Release and Transport
Once capped, the bottles are released and moved along the conveyor to the next production stage, completing the capping process efficiently.
